Winx Club - TV Babble

I am glad that Brandon wasn't on for much of this episode since I hate the new voice. The girls go to the frozen tower because Aurora the fairy of the North decided to make things chilly. So this is the bitch I have to thank for all the crappy and freakishly unnatural weather. Funny but I was blaming Mother Nature for it and all this time it was Aurora.

The wizards are still evil which isn't really a shocker. They are just hanging out in Sibylla's cave for the protection. Dumond is sick and he keeps muttering about the black circle. I wonder when those fairies will get clued in. Somehow I think it will take longer than it took Bloom and the others to realize that they were walking into a trap.

Morgana keeps trying to turn Roxy against the others but it doesn't work. They end up getting trapped because Aurora was just keeping them occupied so the other fairies could leave. So now they are floating around in a giant iceberg with no way out. To make matters worse Roxy collapses and is freezing.

I guess a fairy that has an affinity with animals probably doesn't get the perk that penguins have of enjoying the cold. Hell I wonder why the others aren't cold too. know I would be even without the skimpy outfits they wear when they transform into fairies. Stormy's cousin oops I mean what's her name who does look like Stormy if she was a witch and not a fairy shows up again offering them a deal but I don't think they will take it but things aren't looking too good for the girls right now.

Sibylla's Cave

The voice is still horrible which makes me wonder about the original guy. Maybe he's sick so they have this guy filling in but it just isn't working. I'm sure they could have picked some random guy off the street and ended up with something better.

Jason Queen wanted the girls to perform at the Fruity Music Bar. But when the girls are rehearsing they get a surprise when the wizards show up. They ask for the girls protection. So the girls end up going to Sibylla who is the fairy of justice but first they have to get past the fauns at least they kind of look like fauns only with wings. They make it to Sibylla who says she'll pass judgement on them but I didn't see Bloom giving her the black circle that what's his name gave Bloom that has their powers since the powers wane with the belief in fairies rising.

Maybe it was just me but it was a bit of a letdown that things just got all wrapped up this easily. So now the guys give up and hand themselves over to the girls so they can avoid Morgana and her other vengeful fairies. Anyhoo while the girls were off doing that the guys had to stall so they decided to sing. Riven wasn't too bad but Musa was a bit of a bitch when they got back and saw the guys on stage. She could have thanked them for stalling.

The girls performed and got a record contract. Stella's really excited about that. She seems to have forgotten that she's a princess. I wouldn't know about this but I would think if you're royalty you have money. Maybe she's been on Earth so long that she's forgotten all about that and she has magic to whip up clothes so what does she care about the money for anyway?

The Gifts Of Destiny

Oh my I don't know what the hell happened to Brandon's voice. Maybe the regular guy got sick or maybe the Amazonian fairies did something to him since he's sounding all kinds of creepy. I finally got used to the change in voices when Brandon's voice changed and not in a good way. It is very distracting and who knows it could just result in a drabble. I dare you to watch the episode and not laugh when you hear the new voice. It was hard enough getting used to Sky's voice but this is just ridiculous.

Bloom and the others that weren't captured found the flower that was part of Diana's power. It took a while but finally Diana got a clue and realized how stupid she'd been. But there's still Morgana to deal with. Since Tubby and his crew showed up the nature fairies were feeling it big time when the trees were getting cut down.I did love it when Bloom announced that they'd been captured when the tree branches surrouneded them. Thanks Bloom for letting us know since we wouldn't have known otherwise.

Layla and the others were stuck with the guys but when everyone came together and used their powers they were able to get themselves free. The saved the butts of the warrior fairies and Diana. Bloom healed her and they fought Tubby who was funny. I guess he doesn't believe in fairies but he finally got the message although he seemed confused when he was running into the water saying the trees were his while holding a shovel and calling out, "Yeeha" since that made no sense at all.

Before they went back to Gardenia Diana fixed everything and the girls got a visit from the naked ethereal fairies. They gave the girls the gift of heart although they didn't really look like hearts. They went home and Roxy told them that the pets had a party on Stella's bad. Oh she wasn't happy at all. I'm surprised that no one seemed to notice the creepy sounds coming out of Brandon's mouth when he spoke. I guess love is blind and deaf if Stella can stand to hear that voice. I hope I don't have nightmares.

But the mission isn't over since there's still Morgana to deal with and I'm thinking that bitch isn't going to be so easy to deal with. At least the girls got a power boost but the fairies were about as helpful as Angel was in the early days of Buffy when he was totally cryptic guy. And Layla's worried about the wedding. That is going to be tricky fighting Morgana while planning a wedding. At least Riven and Musa seem to be doing well now.

Headache entry and post about RPM Miami are up. I'll put Big Brother babble up tomorrow since I don't think I'll be doing it tonight especially not with the way my finger is screaming right now.

In Diana's Kingdom

So the girls and Nabu go to the Amazon to rescue the guys. Roxy stays behind because she doesn't have her Believix. She's stuck taking care of the pets. But before they leave they get an upgrade from the Ethereal fairies who were all naked. I guess they don't have to worry about burning.

I thought Stella would wig out when she saw that big ass snake. I know I would but she acted like it was just a creepy and slimy dog. She said hello but I don't think she liked the monkeys that flew at her when she leaped into the tree to escape that alligator or whatever it was. While on the tree she noticed where Diana's place was along with the warrior fairies who could sense the magic.

The Nature Rage

Roxy's bummed because she released the vengeance fairies. I wonder if they know any vengeance demons. It doesn't take much to make me think of Buffy. But the performance is short lived when Diana shows up. I guess she didn't like Bloom's singing. I guess she was singing because she can't play an instrument even though I could have sworn I saw her playing before.

Diana uses her magic green dust to knock everyone out. She wants Roxy to join up with the bad fairies otherwise she's going to take over the place and get the payback. Oh I just love people who want to get vengeance on the wrong people. They should go after the wizards that imprisoned them instead of the people who are clueless about their existence.

The Enchanted Island

That little girl walking with I'm guessing her brother looked like Bloom. They took their pets to the pet store since the one got a bath that she wasn't supposed to and the other one was fed chocolate. So before closing up Bloom gave the one with the upset tummy something to help and fixed the poor squirrel who had been traumatized by the bath.

Kiko gets put in charge and he seems to be enjoying himself. Well why not. While he's taking care of the pets Bloom and the others go off to find the Earth fairies. Color me nuts but it was a nice spot to be trapped in. Roxy ends up passing out and ends up talking to Morgana who gives her a warning about not flying or looking up. I'm not sure what that was about.

A Virtual World

Yes I'm going to use a certain word that isn't often heard in cartoons. Okay maybe some cartoons but not this cartoon but damn Musa's being a bitch isn't she? Poor Riven's trying to get her attention and she just refuses to see it. How sad that the chocolate melted. Damn it must really be hot in Gardenia. I don't know why he didn't put it in the fridge after all that place has to have one after all they do serve drinks.

The girls use the white circle and find out about the other Earth fairies who are trapped in Tir Na Nog. I think I got that spelled right. I don't feel like checking. There could be an apostrophe somewhere but my fingers are kind of dumb so the less clicking I do the better. I'm pretty sure there was a show called that on Fox but it didn't last long. Tecna decides to hide the white circle in a video game so they take off to the Fruity Music Bar because they've randomly decided to become a band.

Magic Lessons

I don't know what time the post will say when it gets posed but it is still Sunday which means Random Sunday. Yep I'm watching another episode of Winx Club. Yes I'm strange but I figured I might as well take advantage of being able to watch something in English. My Italian is even worse than my Spanish.

I guess the wizard isn't a fan of the Winx. I still have no clue what their names are. I'm talking about Pink Mohawk Guy. Maybe that's what I'll call him. I decided to blog and watch since it could go faster this way or maybe it will just mean I blog more. That could be a good or a bad thing depending on the person reading this if anyone is. Duman? Okay the one guy is Oberon and the wizards are hanging out in the sewer.

7: The Perfect Number

Well that's just sad. The girls get taken out by two clowns that were stealing animals and making money off them. That's just pathetic. I think the witches need to come back and kick their asses a bit since they've gotten rusty.

A little cub escapes and finds Roxy so she makes him talk. I guess she's getting the hang of the whole being a fairy thing. She wasn't too thrilled before especially when she heard about going to Alfea for three years. She can always travel back to Gardenia after all Bloom did.

The Wizard's Attack

Guess what happens in this episode? Yep the wizards attack. I would never have guessed that in a million years. And they want the white circle but of course they don't get it. You'd think some bad guys would be able to take out these girls but nope they never do.

Roxy's ready to call the whole fairy thing quits. She's upset about her dog Artu and hello Klaus her dad just found out about her being a fairy. Instead of freaking out she ends up using the force and saves the day with the magic ring. Don't yo just love jewelry that has another use aside from being pretty? Since Bloom was out of juice she had to save the day.

Dad! I'm A Fairy!

Well Roxy's out of the I'm not sure what you'd call it. I guess closet will work although not really. She decides to tell Klaus which just makes me think of the vampire/werewolf hybrid on The Vampire Diaries but oops that isn't Dad that's what's his name. I guess a talking dog isn't very impressive when you're a wizard. So she ends up getting captured but Artu is able to warn the girls after all the wizards want them to know about having Roxy and Klaus.

I guess Roxy got in touch with her inner fairy or pissed off enough to transform. She did a spell so all the pets were able to talk including Kiko who didn't sound the way I'd think he'd sound if he could talk if that makes any sense. They went to save Roxy and Klaus since Kiko was told to watch Artu. They didn't do too badly but now they can't talk anymore.

Forever

I"m guessing the forever means the upcoming marriage between Nabu and Layla since he popped the question. I think Stella's just grumpy because things aren't going well with Brandon. So the two fight but they make up although making up in the middle of a fight isn't a good idea.

The girls try to get people to believe in them but it isn't working out too well. They decide to go after the ninja robbers. How handy that those bags were marked otherwise you might just think these guys had a lot of laundry to do. But the girls fail miserably since they're not used to fighting people without powers so the ninjas get away.

Musa's Song

I'm not sure if I trust that Jason guy. Sure Riven's being a jerk but that's nothing new really. I'm going to guess and say that Riven's the snag that Musa was talking about when she was late to her appointment with Jason. So while she was singing the girls took on the wizards again.

Roxy decides to hang out with the girls and Bloom gets the great idea to turn her pet into her double. You can't escape the doppelgangers since they are also found in cartoons. That kind of reminds me of Magical Doremi and how the girls sometimes turn their fairies into their doubles. It wasn't a good idea since Kiko ends up tied up and the place is a mess so next time Tecna will do holograms which is a better idea unless there's a customer which would make things a bit awkward since holograms aren't solid.

Nebula

Now that I think about it I do believe I watched this in Italian but this one worked better since it was in English. Hell my Italian is worse than my Spanish since I just know a couple words of Italian. Anyhoo Flora just sounds like a total ditz. Hey how did they record my voice? I sound pretty ditzy myself at least it sounds ditzy when my voice is recorded since it doesn't sound as ditzy when I'm speaking.

Oops the King of Eralklion shows up looking for Sky who has just taken off to enter a surfing contest thanks to that nasty Mitzi. Luckily the King doesn't make his minions keep the girls when Stella gets a vision of Roxy being in danger. At least she doesn't get a headache with that vision. I would have thought that it would make more sense for Flora to sense things about people. So they go off but Roxy who is possessed by Nebula ends up back at the Fruity Bar.
