You Won't Like Me When I'm Angry (The Incredible Hulk Design) - Cafepress.com

January 19th 2007 05:58
It's time again to feature another television-related design from Cafepress.com. Cafepress allows you to add designs on to a wide range of products, simply for you own enjoyment or to sell at the world at large. Please follow the link if you are interested in learning more or joining.

This week's design is a retro one, inspired by the series The Incredible Hulk, and comes from Poptastic!

The Incredible Hulk
You Won't Like Me When I'm Angry

The Incredible Hulk ran from 1978 to 1982, based on a comic book character of the same name. Most people are familiar with the basic plotline - Dr David Banner (Bill Bixby), after being exposed to gamma radiation, transforms into the Hulk (Lou Ferrigno) when enraged. In fact, anger was at the core of the series and the character. This design taps into that theme, using the now famous quote 'You won't like me when I'm angry.' The colour is a great match for the colour of the Hulk, and the font bold, rugged and confronting. On the whole, it is very evocative of the programme and a great homage to an iconic character.

This design is available on a range of t-shirts, bags and mugs, so mosey on over to Poptastic. Also, don't forget to visit my store, Meme Me.

DuskDevi: I guess gamma comes in many forms! Do you make those bags yourself? Thanks for book marking my site - I think you'd suit a Dea Ex Machina shirt myself.

JohnDoe & Mrs M: I really like the design as well - I'm sure Cynthia over at Poptastic! will appreciate your comments.

Your Welcome Nina and Cynthia

Any chance of a Deadwood, Oz, Arrested Development or Heroes T Shirt? I would be interested in seeing those.

JohnDoe: I've got some Heroes designs from a couple of different shopkeepers bookmarked, and I'll probably feature them after the show premieres here on January 31.

Just think of all the money Banner could have saved on clothing if only he'd bought a few loose, stretchy T-shirts.
