Another Chance
Damn Owen had his shirt buttoned. I object to that since he shouldn't be buttoned up. If I'm not going to get him half naked I at least want his shirt undone. He went from being all cozy with Jackie when they were supposed to be having a meeting. I think Amber wouldn't have minded a turn. Hell I'm sure the line would be a long one after all this boy is hot. But of course he jumped at the chance to bring Amber's designs up to Bridget who decided to go up to Big Bear. Oh yes that's a brilliant idea. Oh joy Aggie had a weird thing on her head again and I just know what Nick was thinking when Owen offered to go to Big Bear.
Maybe I'm having another dummy moment but I thought Stephanie was going to stay with Bridget but she took off right after Owen arrived with the sketches and sadly buttoned up. That was a bit surprising that she seemed cool with Bridget sleeping with Owen and getting pregnant. I guess a one time thing is okay after all Stephanie was knocked up when she ended up with Eric and she never bothered to get a DNA test after all it didn't come out until much later who the real Daddy was and damn that dude looks so much like Stefano Dimera doesn't he? She thinks Jackie is nuts for being fine with the three way thing they have. Someone is going to be hurt and I'm thinking Jackie since the two looked pretty cozy at the cabin.
So of course Bridget goes into labor and she's alone with Owen. Of course I was thinking okay now you need to take your shirt off. Sure I'm being shallow but is that so wrong? I figure I'm going to special hell anyway so I might as well enjoy the ride. So it looks like there will be two deliveries this week since this is the summer of getting knocked up. I just found it amusing that Bridget thought she was hungry instead of in labor. I'm going on a limb but I'm thinking labor isn't going to feel like hunger. It just might for all I know but I sort of doubt it since I would think labor would be very painful.
Hope finds out about Brooke's leave of absence. She does seem surprised that Boob was behind it. I guess I missed that part since he never really said it. Things slowed down and she walked out of the room and now it was all him which Brooke agreed with. Maybe I drifted off and missed him actually saying it. Donna seemed dumbfounded too like Stephanie was when it came to finding out who the Daddy of Bridget's baby was. But just because she was concerned doesn't mean that Hope's going to come running home. Sure she's mad with her Mom but it's not like she hates Brooke.
Boob of course asks her to give Brooke another chance. She probably will at some point but I think it is too early for that. Maybe it will be good for Hope to be able to work without Brooke around so she can get her life back on track before she works things out with Brooke. I wonder what Brooke will do now on her leave of absence. I guess she could hang out with Donna or give Katie tips on motherhood since Katie's a Stepmommy now. Maybe she could take up knitting after all she does have a grandkid on the way.
