GMC Van (A-Team Design) - Cafepress.com

February 10th 2007 04:33
I'm in a retro mood again today, so today's Cafepress design will be another blast from television's past. Cafepress.com allows you to place your designs on a range of products, which can be simply for your own enjoyment or to sell to the world at large. Please follow the link if you are interested in learning more or signing up.

This week's design is inspired by the action adventure series The A-Team, and comes from Crazy Cool Designs 4 U.

The A-Team
The A-Team

The A-Team followed the escapades of a group of ex-Special Forces Soldiers who are on the run for a crime they didn't commit. Throughout their travels they use their plethora of skills to do good deeds and help those in need.
Despite being wanted mercenaries, The A-Team drove around in what had to be one of the most conspicuous vans on the planet. Only the Mystery Machine would have been more prominant. This black and grey GMC van used by the team has become a pop culture icon - this design features a cool rendered image of this iconic van in all its glory.

This design is available on a range of shirts, so head on over to Crazy Cool Designs 4 U. Also, don't forget to visit my store, Meme Me.

I love it!

"In 1972 a crack commando unit was sent to prison by a military court
for a crime they didn't commit. These men promptly escaped from a
maximum security stockade to the Los Angeles underground. Today,
still wanted by the government, they survive as soldiers of fortune.
If you have a problem - if no one else can help - and if you can find
them - maybe you can hire: The A-Team."

Dum-da-da-Dah! Da-da-dah!

Sorry - just had to get that out of my system!

;o)

Yoda76, if you can recite the opening sequence, then I think that makes you a die hard fan

Count me as another one who always watched the show- (When Lt. Barclay showed up on Star Trek, I couldn;t keep from thinking of him as Howling Mad Murdock).

For the back of The A-Team t-shirt, how about a bulls-eye target- but with all the bullet holes completely outside the target. As much as I enjoyed the show they couldn't hit the side of a barn if they were in arm's reach of it.

Francis: That's so true! The inability to aim is a staple of many tv shows, but usually it is the villains that are inept.
