Turned To Crap

9/22/10 One Life To Live

I do feel bad for James but he's being smart. At least he isn't being like his brother since he's telling Starr what he wants and has the sense to realize that it won't happen. Of course I'm thinking it will happen and I think it's great that she's thinking of her daughter that seems to be invisible but the situation isn't the same as Inez and Eddie's sitch. She could break it off with Cole without Hope losing a parent. Maybe James thinks he can flip a switch after all his brother managed to do that which led to him just slutting around without a thought for the girls feelings.Maybe this will force Starr to figure out what she wants since it is obvious that she's torn about it. She does have feelings for James but at the same time she does love Cole. The question is who does she really want to be with? Isn't he leaving anyway? So I guess the decision might be easier than she thinks.

James seems to be the more likely brother to give Inez a chance. Sure he doesn't know her but now he has the chance to change that. She's not some evil monster since she was just caught in a really bad sitch. How weird that Eddie's going to be Dawson's Dad? So odd so I might end up calling him Mitch for a while when he shows up. Never really thought about how Eddie would look aside from him being handsome since I'm not blind about the good looks in this family with the knockout Inez and her easy on the eye sons. Also he doesn't have as many memories of her so of course it will be harder for Bobby to give Inez another chance because he feels she just left him and didn't give it another thought although he knows better after what Nate told him about hearing Inez cry when she thinks he won't hear her.

I just wanted to smack Matthew today. Come on Rex you can take care of a sixteen year old boy or maybe he can't. So I find it funny that Kelly's telling Gigi that he's good at this job when he ends up getting caught by Matthew. Why not tell the kid what he's up to? Isn't he curious about what happened to his brother or does he just not care anymore now that he's taking a walk on the dark side? So instead of trying to come up with some story to tell Matthew like the truth perhaps he is all vague so Matthew ends up calling security and Clint finally shows up. He doesn't even deny that David's in prison cleaning toilets but he tells Rex that it goes no further. I'm pretty sure Bo would want to know about this after all David is his son.

Gigi talks to Kelly about the naked thing. Um Gigi you do sound paranoid since nothing has happened between the two and I really doubt that it will. I just don't see these two ever being more than friends. Maybe worrying about paying for college has caused her brain to suffer a malfunction. But on the bright side it does look like she'll do well in Cris's class. I still think the boy should spring for an h. Gee imagine that he's all gloomy because Layla's in Paris. Even Mom thought he was crazy when she found out so she hit him. This is the only way for the two to be able to go after their dreams since it's not like he can just transfer this opportunity to the Sorbonne or something. Okay that's the only school I can think of in Paris.

Inez decided to have a drink after her chat with James. I'm sure he'd be having a drink too instead of crying in the park himself if he was old enough to drink. She ends up talking to Clint until he gets called away but Bo shows up. He ends up telling her about Clint. I think the word of the day in Llanview would be bluster. Drink up Inez every time you or Clint say bluster. I'm not sure that bluster would cover it when Clint showed up to Bo and Nora's wedding with a shotgun. The two are laughing at the thought of Inez dating the homicidal maniac and his guns when Nora shows up. I wonder if she'll get her Baked Alaska after all she seems very obsessive about it although I don't see what the big deal is about it. Doesn't seem tasty to me but hey if she likes it that's the important thing.

While Starr and James were having a talk about not being friends Cole was at court with Hannah. It wasn't the same crazy ass judge that was actually taking a serial killer's will seriously but someone else. This one seemed to have more sense. He might have tossed that will out if he was the judge for that hearing. Marty ended up testifying on Hannah's behalf and said that she didn't think Hannah deserved to go to jail for her part in the whole Eli mess. The girl needs therapy and someone that gives a crap not prison since that would likely make things worse for her. So Marty agrees to take custody of Hannah and she's required to continue with outpatient treatment. She's kind of like a bit more likable Jan Spears who I think about absentee parents too. It is kind of sad but Cole was there for her and the three walked out of the court like a happy little family. Hmm?
