It Just All Sucks
Don't you just love it when your soap gets interrupted? That's why the delay on the babble in case anyone was wondering. I was able to watch about ten minutes before they went yammering on about the fire which is kind of ironic when you think about it since there was the fire in Tahiti. Blair and John finally get home. I guess they weren't taking the speedy plane this time. I think she should have a drink because if anyone needs a drink it would be after getting married and finding out that your husband's a serial killer only to end up shooting him and having him die in a fire.
I think I'd take a bubble bath myself instead of standing in the shower but I hate showers and hate them even more now that I'm forced to take them. There must be some stupid law that bans bathtubs in basements. While Blair's taking a very long shower Kelly gets the poop from John. I wonder how many words I use. John uses forty. I do know there are words I use a lot for some reason. Now it looks like there will be confessions all over Llanview.
Rex and Gigi go on a picnic and he brings along the case. I guess he hasn't named it yet. He got Gigi some school supplies but instead of swimming with the guy she decides to work on the application for the grant she's applying for. Maybe that's a good thing because Kelly showed up once again with an almost naked Rex. Maybe that's the solution to the Winchesters problem. Kelly could show up so the boys will be half naked. Sound like a plan? Well it is tragic when someone suffers from shirtoffaphobia.
Jack had the sense to just go in and hug Dani and tell her that he was sorry about Tea. I think Todd was worried about the kid saying something but he did it right. Of course later on when Blair came over he did tell her that he told her so. Kelly didn't and this is just one of those times where you don't really need to say it after all Blair is feeling stupid right now so why kick her when she's down and Kelly ends up telling her about Tea supposedly dying. Well there's no body which points to her not being dead and there was that shot Greg gave her which could have been a sedative.
I guess Greg doesn't watch the news or read the paper since he tried calling Eli about Tea again. Destiny overhears part of the conversation and mentions that Eli's dead. She also sees Layla and Cristian who hadn't heard about Tea's death. I wonder what that means for the plan that Greg was a part of with Eli. Since he hasn't been able to get in touch with Eli that suggests that it was him in the fire after all the body had a bullet wound although the picture and ring could have been planted. Of course there's the question of whose body it is if it isn't Eli's.
I'm sure the guy that performed the ceremony was gone so there was no chance for anyone to shoot him since Blair was inside the whole time so for now it looks like he's really dead although I suppose it is possible that he isn't. It does look like John won't be totally convinced until he has the DNA results. And Ross was covering for Eli so he didn't have a chance to shoot anyone either. I doubt they had a dead guy stashed in the closet since that would smell so the only one that very likely isn't dead would be Tea since her body hasn't been seen at all and I doubt that Greg had any so called ashes either when he went to see Todd who stayed behind to wait for him.
Kelly decides to release her Mom's ashes at the river and she met Rex on the bridge. It could have been a lot worse since Stacey had her husband's ashes thrown at her by her so called best friend. Now she wants to get her life back which she put on hold when she was trying to solver her Mom's murder. I think she should go into the PI business with Rex and his special case. While she was doing that Rex went back to Gigi after he was introduced to Melinda. He didn't bother to mention yet another encounter with Kelly while he wasn't wearing much.
It was nice to see Roxy since it's been a while. She reminded me a little of Grams who took credit for having the Charmed Ones even though it was her daughter that gave birth to them. She took credit for Natalie getting knocked up. It did look like she was going to tell Roxy what happened that night before she was found at the airport by John but he came home. It did look like she wanted to tell him especially when he was going on about lies and how they always come out. He didn't want the appointment delayed since he wanted to see something good but of course there's the part he doesn't know where the baby might not be his. Talk about cruel if he's not the Daddy.
Jessica goes to her appointment and Brody is just so very excited about everything. He's relieved about the RH thing but he has no clue that he might not be the Daddy either. In her case Jessica can't really be blamed kind of like John with Marlena after all he was programmed to be Roman Brady and he finds out that he isn't which didn't turn off his feelings for the woman. He already knows that Jessica doesn't remember much about that night and he was there himself when Ford denied sleeping with her so I think he could handle finding out that he might not be the Dad.
I'm sure Brody wouldn't be happy about it but it's not like she knew until Kelly told Ford about her having Hep C and finally being forced to admit that they did have sex. The blame would go all on Ford for taking advantage of Jessica. And if word got around Ford wouldn't have a chance in hell with Langston. It does look like she's going to tell him and if anyone is going to do any confessing I'm thinking Jessica will be the one to do it. Greg might fess up but he might not since he might come up with some other lie to cover the reason why he doesn't have Tea's ashes. Natalie might tell John but she could very likely chicken out.
I'm just going to take a guess about the book Destiny's reading but it sounds like The Time Traveler's Wife. She mentions it to Layla and Cristian who are in a not so fun sitch right now with that job offer for her in Paris and Cristian getting that grant at LU. They both asked for a delay on things but ultimately I'm thinking one of them will have to give up the dream job for the person they love unless they both go their separate ways I was never a big fan of assigned reading which is ironic since I've always loved reading but no such much when I'm forced into it along with the book choices being so damn crappy. I know I'd want to choose a sci fi book myself if given the choice.
