I Hate Her
9/2/10 One Life To Live
Todd and Dani are upset so they go into anger land saying they hate Tea and Dani even rips the necklace off. The two end up talking and he mentions talking to Tea about this and how she pretty much said it was okay if they hated her. That's understandable that they'd hate her after all she did leave them. There's no logic when you're grieving a loved one so it's okay but hopefully the two will be able to bond beyond their mutual hatred of Tea for leaving them.
Shaun goes to Buenos Diaz where he finds Destiny and Nate who find out about Tea dying. Greg shows up too and Shaun continues to wonder about his brother. Um I'm pretty sure he said Tea was cremated already which is why Todd and Dani couldn't see her. Now he's saying there was a delay so her ashes will show up later but that made sure that they would be taken care of. I don't believe there are any ashes because I'm not buying that she's dead. I think she's stashed away somewhere and hell I wonder if she's really dying at all. Sure that last part is probably unlikely but this whole damn thing just doesn't make any sense.
What will happen to Tea with Eli possibly dead? Greg called Eli and left a message talking about Tea's so called death. Of course he has no idea what went down in Tahiti but I wouldn't be surprised if Ross does after all it did look like they had something planned. I just though it was odd that Ross was released. Shouldn't he be arrested too? Now I haven't been watching long but it sounds like he's not exactly Mr Nice Guy and isn't is against the law to fake your death? Oh those cops in Tahiti are just as smart as the guys on the Salem PD. Even I know they should have gone into the house after all I'm sure they would have been told about Blair and how she was in danger because she was about to marry a serial killer.
John gets to the station and finds Ross there so he has the sense to get back to the house which was on fire thanks to Eli knocking that candle over. While struggling with the gun it went off and just like I suspected Eli was the one that got shot. If a fire starts thanks to a knocked over candle blow the other candles out instead of grabbing something to try to put the fire out which just results in your cloth getting set on fire thanks to the burning candles that you throw across the room which just made things even worse. Also you just get your ass out of the place instead of making a stupid attempt that makes things worse because it is on fire and fire would be bad although it is pretty.
The smart thing for Blair would be to get the hell out of the house. So what if the place is on fire after all you just found out that this man killed who knows how many people and one of them was your Aunt. No instead she wants to try to get him out of there. I think she'd still be in there if John hadn't showed up when he did. I did notice that after getting Blair out he shut the door and took his sweet time about going back in for Eli. Of course I'm wondering if somehow Eli managed to get out after all the door was closed and it was hard to see in there but he did have a gunshot wound so it's not like he could move every fast even if he did manage to get up. Ross showed up just in time to see the flames and no sign of his brother at all which makes me wonder if he went to the back first and got his brother out.
Todd calls everyone to tell them the bad news. So they all show up along with Destiny and Nate who bring over some food. Well isn't that nice of Greg to make a lame ass attempt by buying the food to ease his guilty conscience? I hope Shaun keeps thinking about the way his brother is acting although Viv seems to think it has to do with him not being used to losing patients. Uh he's a doctor so that's part of the deal some patients die while others don't. Does he have a freakishly high rate of patients that haven't died? Shaun of course is upset but I hope he looks into it because Greg is totally up to something. Come on you big teddy bear you and think.
I love Destiny who told Todd that he gets a free pass on being a jerk for a few days at least after all he's grieving. She even hugged him after all freak shows have feelings too. Yeah that seems to be the thing to do bring food over because there really isn't anything that you can say when something like this happens and damn it I don't think it's actually happened yet. Crap why do I have to have two dying people this summer? Dani's just glad to have her friends around which has to help.
I'm sure James followed Starr although he claims he came to the park to study for his GED test. He even admits that he thinks Cole was right because he was just trying to protect her. Oh sure Starr you have no feelings at all for this guy. I'm sure they'll end up together especially if Cole does end up leaving town since I've heard that just might be happening. Well they are kinda cute together and he doesn't seem to have his big brothers issues when it comes to all women have cooties and should be used and tossed aside like tissue. She gets the call about Tea and goes to see her Dad and Dani leaving James behind who decides to get in some shirtless studying time. Now I like how he thinks.
Oh Jessica you shouldn't be talking to the doctor about your sitch where anyone could hear you. She was talking about getting the treatment since Ford isn't compatible with her blood type which is when Viki showed up. Jessica just said she was being cautious and paranoid and that it would just make her feel better to have this treatment. She doesn't want to have a DNA test until after the baby's born because she didn't want to risk the baby. How odd that Tweedle Dum of Salem wouldn't have the same thought since the odds of her getting knocked up were so small. I wouldn't be surprised if she ends up telling Brody sooner rather than later about Ford possibly being the Daddy after all in this instance she really can't be blamed considering the state she was in. It was more Ford's fault because he was totally taking advantage of the situation since this is going into rape territory.
I do wonder if Langston will give Ford another chance. It looks like she just might although she didn't want to believe him when he said he was trying to protect her. How funny that a serial killer would make the guy realize that he has real feelings for Langston. At least he's admitting that he wants to change. It's not like he's slept with anyone else aside from Jessica on that crazy night. That is certainly something but of course there's the part where he's her teacher so that isn't the best idea to have a relationship with one of his students because I really doubt that starting it before classes start will matter all that much if word gets out after all this must be a tiny place with only one teacher teaching this class.
