Mythbusters is a pop science programme, hosted by Adam Savage and Jamie Hyneman, in which various myths, rumours and urban legends are put to the test. The results are interesting, amusing and sometimes explosive. In fact, Mythbusters has become known for the presenters' love of blowing things up.
It is this that is the inspiration behind this week's featured design. It's one of my favourite quotes in fact, said by Jamie Hyneman - "Jamie Wants Big Boom." It sums up so much of the show perfectly - it's about the balance of science and entertainment. After all, everything is better with explosions.
