Chez Chez
Another batch of people say farewell. I'm glad that the whole family went off along with Spencer. Lauren talks to Spencer and apologizes for what she did. He ends up forgiving her which is no surprise to me and he says that she's like a surprise to him. I guess Lauren didn't notice that it sounded like he had plans to go with her. Later on when they go to the reopening or opening of Chez Chez she finds out that everyone is going to the Midlands. I'm assuming that's where they're going since Val told Lauren they aren't going to Spain after all. Well they can't send everyone there. Carmel decided to keep quiet about the baby.
Now I love Cheryl but what was she thinking with the silly name. She didn't like the price that Tony was charging her so she hired Ste after all he was the one that would end up doing all the cooking anyway. But he ends up getting caught and Tony fires him again. Maybe Dom will rehire him. Well it wasn't a good idea to pretend to be sick and to sneak off. Come on you're right across the street from Tony's place so it isn't such a shock that he caught Ste sneaking over there with platters of food.
Ste should have tried to arrange things so Tony would be hired since he was just haggling with the price. I wonder if that was Gaby at the end that showed up when he said it's you. I hope so since I thought they were pretty cute and it is nice to have someone I've actually heard of before unlike all the others who I'd never seen before watching this soap. I assume Amy's taking care of the kids. Haven't seen her in a while. Is she one of the casualties?
So now Ste's jobless again but he did try to get one at the club. It didn't end so well with Shifty punching him. Still no sign of me liking that guy at all since he's up to something. He should have asked Cheryl instead of trying the blackmail route. He saw Shifty go into the back with Mitzeee along with some champagne. She went there with Bubble Head since she's continuing to pretend to like her while she's really plotting to get revenge for her Mom's sake. She deserves something at least for the card with wrong age on it since it should have been a year taken off instead of added on. I get the feeling that these two aren't all that close.
Carl shows that he has a wicked temper when he flips out after Jasmine decides to kiss Bart right there in the pub in front of Daddy Dearest. When he grabbed Jasmine's ass Daddy charged in but Jem stopped him. It turns out that this isn't the first time he would attack a kid since he did it to someone else. He broke this new soccer player's leg and ruined his career because I'm assuming kissed Jem or something. I'm thinking a boyfriend perhaps which has to be why she stayed away for so long. It isn't good to have such a tight leash on Jasmine since that's just going to drive her away or cause her to act out. So good job Jem for stopping the insanity.
