I wouldn't mind being cursed if it involved Cheryl's where I won a butt load of money. Not sure what the translation is to American money but it is a lot of money regardless being a quarter of a million pounds. It is pounds right? I'm pretty sure that's the British buck. She ends up asking Kris about a loan. Um did he not go to work. Damn I wish they'd show him in the bank. His first day had to be hilarious with the coffee stain and the rip in his pants revealing his red underwear. Talk about the worst day ever. If you split your pants that would be your cue to go back to bed. I did that once and it wasn't fun. Thank the gods I had a sweatshirt to cover it.
Hmm Zoe was mentioned but nothing about Mike who went off with her. Looks like she's living in London and wants Kris to join her but he doesn't have the money. It's just a good thing he's friends with someone that just struck it rich. Maybe she could break the curse by giving me some money too. She offers to give Kris money for a place to stay for a month and to get there. Aw that's just sweet but that means Kris is leaving which I knew about but didn't want to think about. Well she certainly made him work for that money rubbing her feet. Watch out for the bunion. God I'm glad she didn't eat more of Kris's lunch after she was looking at her feet.
How odd that both British soaps have a funeral this week. It turns out that cousin Victor's wife died. Oops Myra and the gang ends up at the wrong church. This Joan happened to be a nun. How odd since there was the similar name mix up at the hospital on Days this past week too. Well that would explain all the nuns being there. Myra was talking about Joan marrying the big guy upstairs which was Victor who lived above her although it could be taken another way. It was pretty funny but it wasn't until Michaela crowed like a rooster and told her to look at the picture that Myra realized her mistake. Oops Sister Joan was lost at sea so Myra really put her foot in her mouth but I have to say that was probably the funniest funeral ever although they aren't supposed to be funny.
There was no sign of Victor around. Since I'm a Days fan at least for the time being since the jury is out with recent events I couldn't help but think of Victor in Salem being Myra's cousin. It would have been funny if the dead wife was named Joan. So they end up at the wake with the food and damn Theresa's really hungry isn't she? She also notices the cute guy. She goes over to him and talks about funerals making her hungry and horny. She sounds like Faith who said the same thing about slaying. But oops it turns out that he's her cousin. Oh yeah Michaela she won't be pregnant forever so let her hit on her cousin since that would be swell.
Victor took off and left Bartholomew behind. No wonder the kid wants to be called Bart with a name like that. Come on that's a stumbler not to mention the oh crap how do I spell that moment so bless spell check since it is a tricky name to spell. Victor knew that Auntie Myra would let him stay but dude don't rob a store since that isn't a good first impression. Go Dom! He chased him and tackled him and brought him to Myra. He ended up revealing that he's quite the little criminal and very much like the McQueens after all they've done a little stealing themselves. Always make sure there's no one on the bus before stealing it. What I want to know is where this kid is going to be since it is already pretty crowded in the McQueen house.
How nice Michaela put on a black bow for the funeral. I think in time she'll forgive him so Zak should just hang in there but it isn't going to be easy with crazy Des. Des texts him and ends up threatening Zak with Michaela's life. Oh yes that's going to make me say all sorts of wonderful things about this guy. Oh wait not so much. Okay I get blaming Rose since she was a bad influence on him since it sounds like she raised him after their parents died but Zak isn't to blame for this because Des just did to Zak what was done to him when he was younger.
No Jacqui don't say yes to him. Des does end up seeing Jacqui and I do think he loves her but I'm not exactly rooting for him. He'd have to prove himself big time. He did confess to Jacqui what he'd done to Ravi but he'd already been busted by the video which he knew about. But it does have to be hard for her since she does love him and I think she probably would have said yes if she didn't know that Des was a racist. The real question is whether or not Des is lying. Can he really give up his racist ways? He did seem a bit better without his sister around so I guess it is possible but he'd have to work on it because I really doubt you could just give up something like that overnight. I just hope she says no to him but that's just me.
I wonder why Cheryl wants the loan. Maybe she'll try to buy the Loft next after all it is going up for sale hence the guy taking pictures of as she called them footies. At least I think that's what she said. Um I thought that's what they called soccer. Well it isn't the only confusion because once again Des used the we word when asking Des about her marrying him. He said we instead of me. What is up with that? I think it must be a British thing unless he's MPD or something. Why not since he did seem to become racist out of the blue along with Loretta becoming crazy out of the blue too.
Steph goes to the hospital for some treatment and there's this guy filming her. It turns out that he's a patient. Yikes that's horrible being fifteen and having cancer for the second time around. And that has to really suck to have the kind that causes you to break your bones really easily. I'd be totally screwed if I had that since I'm no stranger to falling. But I did get rid of the evil flip flops so hopefully I won't be falling again. I don't recommend it at all especially tile floor since that really isn't good for the head.
I wonder where Gilly was. Steph ends up making Frankie leave but Steph ends up talking to this kid Louie who tells her that she shouldn't push her Mom away. Smart kid and damn how sad is it that he's there all by himself? You'd think someone would be around after all he's only fifteen. So when Frankie goes back Steph gives her a hug and they walk out holding hands. Sure Frankie can be a little nuts at times but she does care.
