I'm confused but isn't a holiday a good thing? That means you're off right? Of course we don't have bank holidays over here but the banks are closed during holidays so that's kind of going over my head. So I'm not sure why people aren't too happy about getting the day off. Oh Ricky what a brilliant idea let's lie to the kids and take them to a trailer and call it the seashore. Maybe seashore means something else in British. But it seemed to be doing the trick so I guess it wasn't such a bad idea after all.
What is up with Becca? She decides it's a good idea to get Stacey off her meds. This is going to end up badly after all it didn't go very well when Pam went off her meds. She was just very creepy playing around with the urn with Bradley's ashes which makes me think maybe she needs to be on something herself. Oh yes let's crush the pills with the urn of your best friend's dead husband. And the creepy didn't end because she was creepy when Jean came in and wondered about Stacey leaving Lily with Becca. Sure Jean's crazy but come on she's the grandmother so you don't have to be a bitch to her.
Jane wants Denise to help her get money from Ian. She opened an account where she's going to stash cash before she leaves Ian. Well she does deserve it for putting up with such a rotten husband like Ian. I have no clue what she saw in the guy in the first place. Maybe she was possessed when she married him. It makes me wonder if the guy even has any feelings at all. Sure it is good to be supportive of your kid but that was totally out of order to help cover up Lucy's abortion and pretending it was a miscarriage. She might not be the biological Mother but she's been a pretty good one and what does she get out of it a stepdaughter that promises her the baby until she decides to have an abortion and pretend it was a miscarriage. Ben is screwed either way since he isn't really all that much better than Phil.
Does Ricky really know that Sam's baby is his? He did run off when she texted him. Um isn't she in prison? Yes she's in the hospital right now but I'm a bit fuzzy on how she was able to get her hands on a phone. I think Minty said something about someone giving her one. Well isn't that nice? He should make sure that the kid is his with a paternity test after all this is the bleeding summer of the paternity tests. There was another one today and it was the fastest one ever because the results were in at the end of the episode and this is a half hour show. Looks like she might want to take advantage of Minty. I kind of hope he sticks with Heather even though she seems to be as dumb as a box of hair.
Wow did Ian actually do something nice? Since you Brits are just crazy about soccer he made a birthday cake for Jordan with a soccer theme. I'm not a soccer fan but it was pretty cute even though the frosting was green but of course that makes sense since soccer is played on grass which as a rule tends to come in green. He wouldn't let Denise pay for it and she wondered if Jane got to see this side of Ian. I don't blame Jane for being mad after all he had no problem lying to his wife about Lucy deciding to have an abortion instead of allowing Jane and Ian to adopt her baby. Of course she had the right to change her mind but it was pretty shitty to not clue in Jane who was upset and felt for Lucy when she had the so called miscarriage. Would serve him right if she left his ass.
Becca is such a bitch. Earlier when she was getting chocolate cookies she talked to Denise about Jean. This led to Denise trying to give Jean advice about not being so smothering of her daughter. I can't say chocolate biscuits since that's just weird. Biscuits don't come in chocolate As far as I know there isn't chocolate bread so there aren't any chocolate biscuits either. The question of what you Brits call actual biscuits remains unanswered. She's the one that called the cops which led to Stacey and Bradley running off so she's to blame for his death. Too bad Stacey didn't hear this but she's in the bath with Lily. It's like she wants Stacey to herself or something. It is just very bizarre and poor Jean wants to tell Stacey but I wonder if that would even help. Stacey might not believe her after all Becca's supposed to be her best friend.
If the bobble head is bobbing don't come a knocking. Bianca who got her legs waxed heads over to the trailer where Ricky's telling a story to the kids. Well he did get them some goodies at the store. So they had their treat and now Bianca wants her treat. It would be a shame to waste the waxed legs. Hell it is a trailer after all and the place looks like a ghost town with this bank holiday thing. Does that mean the banks are closed along with the schools? Damn I wish I had them when I was in school but nope we just had the regular old holidays off along with the days I decided to take the day off.
